GATHERING OUR LIVING WATERS OF THE SUMMER …
Knowing that many of us will have special travel and family plans during the summer,
each is invited to take a little jar and fill it with LIVING WATERS. Water may be gathered from the lake,
river, or stream at your vacation spot. The water may come from the tap of your grandparents farm,
or from the spigot of a special place in your life.

These waters will be gathered KICK-OFF SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 19th.
These jars are labeled and we invite you to write in your information from where the LIVING WATER came.

Unity Board Jackets

The BECD is ordering jackets for the Unity Board members for the upcoming meeting in October.
The order will be placed mid-August and jackets will be available mid-September. 
We would like to extend the opportunity to order a jacket to people in the District. 
Orders must be received and paid for by August 12.

(Here are a few ways in which you are invited to share your gifts in ministry.)

WANTED: Mustard Seed Cooks
Of late, we have found ourselves short of cooks for the Mustard Seed dinners.
There are always lots of servers ~ but no cooks. 
We meet at The Mustard Seed about 3:30pm and are usually all finished by 5:30pm.
Each dinner requires 6 cooks and I would appreciate it if you would consider giving up 1 Saturday
afternoon a year to help out.  When the next Mustard Seed sign up sheet comes along, please

WANTED: Pastoral Care Givers
The Pastoral Care Team which offers home and hospital visits as needed will have a training and
orientation meeting in October. We need one or two additional members to the Pastoral Care Team
with a willingness to offer a visit per week or as needed. Speak with Rev. Gohdes for more information.

WANTED: Coffee Servers and Greeters/Ushers
Sunday morning worship assistance is needed in Coffee Fellowship Servers and Greeter/Ushers.
Please see the easel sign-up sheet in order to offer your help.

WANTED: New Members for the Mission & Ministry Group
The Mission and Ministry Group of the Long Range Task Force are a “think tank” and “planning group”
for new ministry ideas. In the past they have planned the Evening Worship Services, they gave direction
to the Vacation Bible School organization, and they implemented the PLUS 55 Fellowship Group.

WANTED: Sunday School/Children’s Church Helpers
Kari Hirsekorn will be coordinating the Sunday School and Children’s Church Ministry into this next year.
Please offer your assistance to help in one of the roles needed to support the children and youth.

WANTED: Video/PowerPoint Assistants
The Worship Service has been enhanced through the use of the video screen and projector.
We need volunteers to assist in support of this.
